Tattoo Hoarders is a custom, appointment only tattoo studio in the small town of Maffra in East Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. ​Home of resident tattoo artist and owner, Rob Taylor.

Rob began tattooing at what was formally Mint Ink, Maffra, under the guidance of Rose Corbett in 2019. He established Tattoo Hoarders tattoo studio when he purchased the business to save it from closure due to the pandemic in 2021. Prior to that, the studio has a history of providing Gippsland with tattoos since the 1990's. 

Rob is proficient in many styles of tattooing but is known for his black and grey work, using a combination of fine lines, soft shading and solid blacks to create realistic, black and grey tattoos in an illustrative style, often using free-hand skills to give flow and aesthetic composition to his designs.

Rob is also renowned for his work across multiple artistic industries before tattooing, having spent a decade as a touring musician, before completing a degree in film production in 2015 at SEA Institute, South Melbourne, where he directed multiple documentary films including nationally and abroad with Video Hoarders.

Rob is available to tattoo at both Tattoo Hoarders in Maffra and at Lygon St Tattoo Co, Brunswick East.
